By now you’ve probably heard about the New York City walls.

The giant concrete wall is a massive obstacle to moving across New York State, and as a result it has become a popular symbol of the city’s recent and ongoing economic struggles.

But it’s also the symbol of many of the things we worry about, and those fears are very real.
