New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is going to get a lot of love from fans in Los Angeles after he scored a big touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
A little over a month ago, the 49ers and Rams won the NFC West and Manning was the star of the game, completing 15 of 26 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns.
But Manning was not the only Giants quarterback to score.
After his score, the crowd erupted with chants of “Eli!
Eli!” and the hashtag #EliManning.
Manning has been known to do the same on social media.
He tweeted his feelings for the fans on Monday, writing, “Thanks for the support, everyone.”
Manning tweeted that the fans have “been so amazing” during his career and the team was “not the same without you guys.”
